Yes, they can, if they are carefully prepared and well managed.

In this training you will learn different process models, techniques and abilities for leading successfully and reaching clear results. After the training you will be able to define the questions with which you can lead a group through a whole process dealing with a certain subject. You know what has to be set in advance and what needs to be discussed openly. You will find pleasure in leading and develop an instinctive feel for the group. You will learn how to achieve results you can enjoy and be proud of.

Contents

  • Visualization: To capture people's ideas on flipchart, keep track of group discussions, on paper and digital
  • Process designs: Scenarios for workshops, presentations with discussions and regular meetings etc.
  • Effective questioning: How to invite participation, gather information, probe for hidden points, and produce results – using moderation technique as well as mind mapping
  • Finding clarity: Questions for clarification and for planning your workshops and meetings 
  • Behavior and feedback: Dealing with difficult situations, strong characters, reflection of the facilitators’ role and feedback 
  • Background information: Goals and functions in a group process, phase model, assignment clarification,caring for atmosphere, documentation and much more
